Bruce Anderson has an extensive history of participating and coaching at the high school level. His accomplishments include:

Playing on Orono High School's first hockey team.
Played college hockey at Gustavus Adolphus College.
Taught math and coached Hockey in Anchorage Alaska for three years.
Taught math and coached Boys and Girls Hockey at Burnsville High School for 35 years.
Coached boys and girls teams to 12 trips to the Minnesota State High School Hockey Tournament.
