Plans are underway for the 2019 Premier Prep League this coming fall. This will be the 12th year of the league.  The co-directors for the Premier Prep League will be Robert Sherry and Kendall Christian. This league is administered by the Minnesota Girls Hockey Coaches Association with support from MN Hockey, the Elite 1 Girls Hockey League and the girls high school coaches.

The league will start the weekend following Labor Day and finish the weekend prior to the start of the MSHSL girls hockey season. Current plans include cross-over games with Elite 1 teams and HP 14/15 Tier 1 teams. The schedule will be posted to the MGHCA website as soon as it is finalized. Tryout dates, times and locations will also be announced and published as soon they are determined.

Some features for the league will include:

• Possible team selection to the USA Hockey Tier 2 National Tournament
• Possible team selection to the USA Hockey National High School Tournament
• Possible player selection to the USA Hockey America's Showcase Tournament
