Another slow start proved costly for the Stillwater girls' hockey team on Thursday. The Ponies, who gave up three goals in the first 10 minutes, recovered nicely but it was too big a deficit against sixth-ranked Edina, who held on for a 3-2 nonconference victory at Braemar Ice Arena.
