Minnehaha United improved their conference record to 1-2 with a 2-0 victory over the Saint Paul Blades on Tuesday evening. United benefitted from the outstanding play of Sophomore goaltender Julia Carle, who overcame 42 shots to earn the shutout. Junior forward Sarah Lynn led the team's offense by scoring both of the team's goals. Lynn now has four goals in three games since returning from injury. The game also featured strong efforts by United's young corps of defensemen. "It was a strong team effort," commented one parent after the game. A profound sense of celebration filled the locker room after the victory.
