The second-line center scored the first hat trick of her career in a 9-3 victory Thursday over Mounds View in the Suburban East Conference. Earlier in the week, scored two goals against Park. Is in her third varsity season. "Taylor is an extremely hard worker who pushed herself very hard this past summer," Bears coach Jerry Kwapick said. "Each year (on the varsity), she has shown great progress in her game. She's a tireless worker who strives to get better every day."

Hill, a forward, had a goal and two assists, and Hanson, a defender, had two goals in a 4-2 victory over Stillwater in a Suburban East Conference game Wednesday night. Hill was a nuisance throughout with 10 shots on goal. "Hayley truly leads by example," Bears coach Jerry Kwapick said. "She is a relentless worker who has really refined her superior skill set. She sees the ice and anticipates plays so well, and takes advantage of every opportunity. She is a fierce competitor who hates to lose." Hanson took eight shots on goal in the victory over the Ponies. "Sam is a tireless worker who pushes herself in everything she does," Kwapick said. "She's an extremely strong individual with lightning speed. Sam is a threat every time she steps on the ice."
