A $20 Late Fee will be assessed for any registrations made after December 31st
The MGHCA Executive Council has decided to allow coaches of MSHSL teams the opportunity to join the Minnesota Girls Hockey Coaches Association in two different methods for this upcoming season.
The first method of joining will be for coaches (or teams) to join the MGHCA via the online registration link using credit card payment. The fees for membership will be $110 for an entire team, $40 for individual coaches and $30 for retired, associate or college coaches. (This is the only method available for Associate Members to join the MGHCA).
Please note: For those teams using the "Team" membership registration, each coach for a respective team must have their information entered into the database before they are considered members of the coaches association. This must be done by December 31st.
Please be aware that by using this membership method, coaches will not be able to receive recognition and benefits associated with the MSHSCA (i.e. Insurance, State Championship Coach awards, etc.) The MGHCA will offer the same awards and recognition as offered in the past for these members.
The second method of joining the MGHCA will be through membership in the Minnesota State High School Coaches Association (MSHSCA) through their website. The MGHCA will honor any coach who registers through the MSHSCA as a full member of the MGHCA with all honors and privileges associated with membership in the MGHCA. Dues for joining the MGHCA via the MSHSCA will be the general unified dues PLUS sport specific dues of $25 for head coaches and $15 for assistant coaches. Each coach will need to pay the unified and sport association dues to receive the benefits through the MSHSCA. The web link for the MSHSCA is below.
