By Morris, 02/12/18, 11:30AM CST

Former Blaine girls hockey coach, Marci Bydlon passed away from complications of her battle with cancer. She was the one of the first girls high school hockey head coaches, starting the Blaine/Coon Rapids team in 1993. She was the head coach there until 2003. Below is the entry from her Caring Bridge web page. Please keep Marci and her family in your prayers.

Our brave warrior

Journal entry by Marlys Fernholz — 16 hours ago

After fighting the hardest battle of her life, Marci passed away on Saturday, February 10th at her home under the care and guidance of Hospice and her family. We are sad she is no longer with us but happy she is pain free. We (her family) were witnesses to the impact she had on your lives as one after another you visited, called or texted to express your love and respect for her. We are all blessed to have known her, learned from her and celebrated with her. There will never be another like her.
At this time we do not have a date or location for a gathering to celebrate her life and share our memories of her. Once we do, I will post that information on this page.
Please bear with us as we also lost a brother 3 days before losing Marci. Our hearts are very heavy.
Thank you everyone for all that you have done for Marci and her family.
Blessed be the memory of Marci.
