Luverne senior Lauren Christensen scored the go-ahead goal with assists from Alizabeth Goldie and Makayla Sterrett to put the Cardinals ahead 3-2 with 12:30 left in Tuesday's Class 1A, Section 3 semi-final game.

Autumn Wenzel held the No. 2 Tigers in check for the rest of the game to send No. 3 Luverne to Friday’s Section 3A final in Redwood Valley against No. 1 New Ulm.
