MANKATO — The Huskies’ quest for a perfect season continues after a shutout win against the Cougars.

Owatonna defeats Mankato East 7-0 on Thursday in Big Nine Conference girls hockey.

Senior Paige Lysne scored four goals and classmate Cailyn McCauley scored  in the win. Ninth-grader Payton Noble scored the other two goals. Keshia Reuvers had 16 saves for her fourth shutout of the season.

OHS (11-4 overall) improved to 8-0 in the Big Nine Conference. The Huskies play Dodge County at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Four Seasons Centre.
