The Red Knights won the Schwan's Cup Championship with another low scoring game, defeating Fargo North by a score of 3-0.  Stars of the tournament were Kelly Pannek scoring 5 of the 8 BSM goals and Brittany Wheeler having 5 assists.  Pannek has now scored at least 1 goal in 10 straight games.  Caitlin Reilly also extended her point scoring streak to 11 straight games.

The Red Knights methodically controlled the game scoring 1 goal in each period.  Jordyn Burns notched her 8th goal of the season from Kelly Pannek on the powerplay in the first period.  Kelly Pannek scored the other 2 goals for BSM.  Other players with assists in the game were Brittany Wheeler, Caitlin Reilly, Sara Taffe, and Jordyn Burns.  Shots for the game were 36-19.  Tiana Press was in net and earned the win with her 3rd shutout of the season.  The Red Knights finished 2010 with a record of 12-2-1.  BSM will return to conference play next Thursday taking on St. Louis Park at the SLP arena.
