Jessica Aney, 12, was named the 2010 Sports Illustrated Sports Kid of the Year.

Earlier this year, Aney placed third at the USTA Winter National Tennis Championships. She also snatched second in the state individual tennis tournament and is 15th nationally in the USTA Tournament rankings.

In hockey, Jessica has been a member of the Team Reebok Elite AAA 12-under team the last three years, and helped lead them to the International Cup.

Aney scored five goals in her first-ever high school game for Rochester Century last week.
