Last year, as Breck's new head coach, I was asked one question that stands out more than any other in my coaching career, and it was: "Where do you expect your goals to come from?" My reply: "from our off-ice training." By the end of last season, after logging in more than one hundred hours of off-ice training, the Breck girls finished the regular season ranked fifth in highest team points (326) in the state. We graduated 102 points and one of the best defenders in the state with 49 points, Madison Styrbicki. Breck has 224 points returning, 101 of which come from the blue line. We have one of the best Goalie tandems in the state in Junior Ahsha Payne, a Division I recruit, and Sophomore Taylor Neisen, one of the most technically sound net-minders I've ever worked with. The Mustangs are one of the most explosive, dynamic and creative teams to watch. Don't miss out - this is amateur hockey at its best.
