The Premier Prep League wrapped up it's second weekend at the Super Rink with some great hockey match-ups.  Six of eight games were one goal contests and Team Gold continued it's dominance by racing out to a 4-0 record.  Team Green and Team White trail closely with 3-1 records.
There were many notable performances, but Emily Heid (Green / Elk River) stole the show again with another five point weekend and leads all scorers with ten points (six goals) in just four games.  Aided by a great hat trick on Saturday, Briita Nelson (Gold / Burnsville) is right behind her with six points in three games.  Callie Hoff (Red / Duluth) is next with five points and there is a logjam of kids with four points through four games.
Jenna Baumgartner (Roseau) had another solid weekend in the net and has played four complete games for league leading Team Gold.  Lauren Topor (Grey / Rosemount) made 12 saves for a shut-out in her first half game appearance in the league.
Next weekend is a big one as Premier Prep welcomes Team North Dakota and Team South Dakota into the mix.  They will each play four games on the weekend before returning to Minnesota in October.  All games next weekend are at the Coon Rapids Ice Center.
