The Pirates put the bus troubles and having to dress quickly to get out on to the ice behide them and beat the Bears up in Baudette. The Pirates were ready to take on the Bears to get rid of their two game losing streak and get back onto the winning streak with only three regular season games left before the postseason starts. The Pirates for the first time this season posted sixty shots on Bears goaltender Emily Ney (Sr., Goalie) who also had fifty saves in the game for the Bears. Also this is the first time this season that back-up goalie Erica Allrich (Jr., Goalie) who got her first time shut out this is season for the Pirates. After this win the Pirates are now back to .500 with an overall (10-10-0) and (4-8-0) in the Greater Minnesota Conference. With the Pirates back on their winning streak they look to complete the regular season on a good note and start the postseason on the right foot.
