Lakeville South HS girls hockey coach Tim Morris was awarded the 2021-22 Section 1AA Coach of the Year and the Class AA State Coach of the Year awards at the Ms. Hockey Awards Banquet on February 27th at the Prom Center in Oakdale, MN. Coach Morris led the Cougars to a 25-3-0 record while capturing the South Suburban Conference championship finishing ahead of 2nd place Burnsville HS. During the season Morris captured his 500th win as a coach of a girls high school hockey team. The Class AA Assistant Coach of the Year was awarded to Bob Sherry of Burnsville HS. Congrats to both coaches!
